The Silver-spotted Skipper (Epargyreus clarus) is a common visitor to flowers in North America.  An interesting tidbit about the silver-spotted skipper is that they almost never visit yellow flowers.  They seem to prefer blue, red and purple ones.  

The Monarch Butterfly (Danaus plexippus).  This one was spotted at Secrest Arboretum in Wooster, OH fueling up on nectar before its long migration south.
